I knew I needed an exit strategy, so I created one for myself.
I followed all the "right" steps to land my dream job in PR...only to get there and realize this wasn’t gonna fulfill me.
How could I have the spine-tingling, hair-raising, happy sigh-ing levels of freedom I desired while being stuck in the confines of a traditional job? I realized...I couldn’t.

While my boss thought I was busy working on client projects, I secretly stowed away in my cubicle building my blog and Instagram.
I steadily and strategically grew my follower count by putting out valuable content, and before I knew it...
Since then, I’ve made my mark on the travel blogging industry, stepping off the plane in 50+ countries in the last four years, and working with luxury hotels and tourism boards around the world in places like The Bahamas, Thailand and Morocco.
It’s with this experience in my suitcase that I started to notice a few things about the influencer industry.
Finding honest, actionable strategies about what it really takes to succeed here is like trying to get your hands on the newest collection from Skims. It just isn’t gonna happen! And while there are a lot of people teaching about how to get free stuff from brands and take pretty pics for the 'gram, there wasn't anyone peeling back the curtain on how to build a smart, profitable influencer biz.
So I set off to fill that white space by creating resources that helped other women do what I did — faster, and with fewer oopsie daisies along the way. To date, I have helped over 10,000 women grow engaged communities online, create binge-worthy content, and monetize through brand collaborations and beyond.
And achieving those things online? They've had big-time offline results.

It only took my first press trip invite before I was handing in my two weeks notice and hitting the open road, passport in hand.
