I have to admit – I didn’t know Lago di Braies existed until a couple of days ago. Lago di Braies (Pragser Wilds in German) is located in Northeastern Italy in the Dolomites in South Tyrol. It requires a bit of hiking to get to, but it seems worth the trek. I mean, did you know such bright turquoise water and stunning mountains existed?

    The color of the water reminds me of Joffre Lakes close to Whistler in Canada. I think it is because it is from glaciers? Not sure if that is the case here? But regardless that is so beautiful!
